Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Business Development to lead our growth initiatives at Oakmont Interiors. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development within the interior design and construction industry. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and Implement Strategy:

    • Formulate and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive growth and expand market presence.

    • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities and market trends to ensure sustainable growth.

  2. Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:

    • Identify and pursue potential clients, establishing strong relationships with key decision-makers.

    • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and repeat business.

  3. Market Expansion:

    • Lead efforts to enter new markets and expand the company's reach in the interior design and construction sectors.

    • Develop strategies to penetrate untapped markets and increase market share.

  4. Proposal Development and Presentations:

    • Prepare and present compelling business proposals, pitches, and presentations to potential clients and stakeholders.

    • Collaborate with the design and project teams to create tailored solutions that meet client needs and exceed expectations.

  5. Collaboration and Team Leadership:

    • Work closely with the design, project management, and marketing teams to align business development efforts with company goals.

    • Lead and mentor a team of business development professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

  6. Financial Management:

    • Develop and manage the business development budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources.

    • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and business development metrics to senior management.

  7. Brand Promotion:

    • Enhance the company's brand presence through strategic marketing and networking activities.

    • Represent Oakmont Interiors at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote the brand and generate leads.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Interior Design, or a related field. MBA preferred.

  • Proven track record of successful business development within the interior design and construction industry.

  • Strong network of industry contacts and a deep understanding of market dynamics.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement innovative business development strategies.

  • Leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to build and manage high-performing teams.

  • Proficiency in CRM software and other business development tools.
